GeoIp text without using a database?

Is it possible to get a page to display GeoIp info via text without a database?

Nope... you can get IP info from a text file, but that text file would still work a database of sorts

that's gotta be alot of IPs. in that file. Oh well, fuck it.

Yes you can access it right from the DAT file. Check out maxmind... they have copy/paste code there...

It worked for me anyhow.

The file that I feed my DB with is about 5 megs in size, so it's not that bad.. but why would you bother? Just use sql database, much more efficient.
