We're a visual effects studio not audio; we do have someone that edits and mixes audio and sound effects but I have no idea what hardware he uses. lol

You know I watch MTV Cribs and honestly I'm not impressed. Only a few homes on that show have impressed me and one was Russel Simmons home.

now if they knew how to use them properly ;-)

with the shit digi designs puts out -- and all the TDM/RTAS/HTDM/VSTi compatible plugins available -- you can get your sound pretty much exactly how you want it. a lot of these high-end industry standard products can do a pretty good job of emulating that analog sound too. however, if you are that serious about that warm analog feeling in your music -- you can always record your sessions onto DAT -- or process your mixes through a reel machine.

BTW, look at his studio monitors (the speakers) -- a little over kill dont you think? lol

Do you think so ? The man got couple dozen plat records under his belt (with other artists too), is definitly one of the best producer from our generation, got some dope ass promo and a huge ass record label, is a very good business and he can't figure out how that works ?

Most of the "engeniers" that get a job after school probably use 10% of their knowledge... I'm pretty sure he's able to manage. He probably had somebody to build it up for him, and get the best stuff out there... but from there I'm sure he can do it on his own.

We are takling about studio equipement there... not gold floors and platinium doorknobs.

The guy is the #1 money maker in the music business and have been for couple years (with em).
