Latest firefox huge processes?

I upgrade firefox the other day, i start it up process is about 28mb in CTRL-ALT-DEL as I browse it grows and grows the last one I killed was about 420mb

I noticed it because my machine becomes v.slow anybody else having this is it what they call a memory leak or something maybe?

Personally, I've found that it's been using a lot less memory than the last version, and they've talked about a ton of memory leaks being fixed.

what os you on?

I agree. Looks like if you want to keep using it spanno you may need to upgrade your RAM. :2 cents:

I'm staying with 1.5. Too many people reporting issues with that 1.5.01 update.

The Sultan Of Smut 02-05-2006 11:16 PM

I'm glad I didn't update. I'll stay with 1.5 for now.
