Postage is due for companies sending e-mail

Companies will soon have to buy the electronic equivalent of a postage stamp if they want to be certain that their e-mail will be delivered to many of their customers.

True, although I remember Bill Gates already came up with this idea a few years ago, so it does not seem unlikely for Hotmail to implement something similar.

It may set a dangerous precedent I guess, and I'm not too sure I support it, but truth be told it will be good for a number of companies who run legitimate email based businesses.

Would love to see this happen. Everyone will ditch Yahoo's POS system, the stock will take a dive, and google will be there to pick it up for pennies on the dollar.
