bottles vs. cans
I mean which is better.. beer bottles are cheaper, but it seems like the beer cans make your booze taste tin'ey but maintains it being colder.
thoughts? lol |
I agree. Cans seem to get and stay colder, but nothing like the feel of a bottle in your hands. I also prefer the taste of the bottle.
|
Bottles for beer. Cans for soda.
|
Bottles all the way..I can taste the tin in cans
|
Bottles are best when things get rough in the trailer park.
|
bottle a pain to get rid of

i prefer glass and it pretty much rules for taste and more importantly the environment
i think it sucks you can't buy a coke in a glass bottle anymore nothing better than a cold glass 16oz bottle with a bag of peanuts poured in |
Bottles (stubbies here) are the true container for beer imho, but lately I been getting some flat beers in stubbies. So with the cans, Ive never come across a flat beer in them, so sometimes I like to get cans instead. Cans are better if your going out or something and easier to get rid of, whereas bottles are dangerous round drunks or kids if they are dropped (broken glass)!
Cans pros: Easy to take and transport, dispose of, no flat beer, seem to make the beer have a nicer "kick" ie bit stronger? Can cons: Can taste tinny, sour Stubbies pros: Great taste, good feel to them. Stubbies cons: Seem to get some flat beers every now and then. Glass sucks if dropped, dangerous in public, harder to dispose of. mmmm thats about it lol |
Fuck bottles, fuck cans.... It's all about the pint glass

Can con:
I once stood on the loading doc of a Pepsi distributor in Pasiac NJ, and watched a dude whip it out and piss all over the top of a case of Pepsi. Haven't touched cans since. |
Beautiful Brown Bottles... good beer isn't even put into cans. And before you show me a picture of Guinness in a can, that's only because of the Nitros release that you can't do with a bottle.
|
i prefer beer in a bottle and pop in a can.
|
I throw away any canned beer that is left over

bottles any day, it just tastes fresher... coke from the bottle tastes fresher and crisper too...
|
Beers are for bottles.
Sodas will do good in cans, better. |
Bottled beers - they are simply the best.
|
The taste is just the same but I think canned beers are easy to handle than the bottled ones.
|
Beer: Draft - then Bottled
Soda: Glass bottels, then cans, plastic bottles |
being involved into beer and soft drink production's business i can say that beer in cans is better then in battles...but if it wasn't bottled a day or two go. if more, then it is. the matter is metal cap on the bottle isn't completely waterproof, due to that air (with oxygen in it) enters inside the bottle. and oxygen influence in the taste of the beer. the more O2 in it, the worse taste of the beer. from the other hand content of oxygen in can always stays the same, so the taste as you got at the brewery is the same in your can, but not in bottle.
mineral water i preffere in glass bottles. ............wow- was it me who wrote all that stuff??? :) |
bottled all the way
|
always been a bottle guy!
