Excessive 404's
 

So I went and checked the stats on one of my sites and came to realize I have had over 40,000 404 errors since the 1st of the month, many coming from baidu and where not. What would you all recommend I do with this traffic? I can either block or redirect somewhere. Ideas please?

If it's from baidu then it's probably link hotten which is nearly worthless... 403 it

Ravo, I tried sending some 404s but didn't get it tracked well... I sent over 2K and got only 10 or something tracked :D LOL

We had some down time earlier today, so that might explain it.

Also, we do not pay for an broken image 404s; perhaps a lot of your 404 traffic is generated that way?
