IMO thats why America is the only worlds superpower. We serve a need. We are serving a need fighting islma-facsists (where ever they came from, they will be back under their rock soon.) Love it or Hate it, if you dont back it you are risking your own future.

Pardon but it's the other way around... I believe America continuously pretends that the world needs them.

The world's ultra rich elite industrialists likes having the US play the role of security guard and defender of liberty.

Keeps the world having to spend over $1 Trillion per year on defense.

Interesting stat: In 2004 the US spent $455 Billion on defense which is more than the next 32 most powerful countries combined.

So hell yeh! Without us the world would be peaceful, but there is no profit in peace which is why whenever one war period of history ends another one inevitably arises shortly thereafter.

I agree that America is a powerful country that they can do lot of things, but they should still consider things/situations if they are really needed or else they would just create another war.
