whats the value of a domain with 100 searches in overture for domainname.com? Someone told me its 30 x overture = $3k

It depends if its freesex.com or gaymidgets.com

it all depends on what field the domain name is in, also if its an adult name it will be valued differently.

its not a "freesomething" domain, more a niche targetted adult domain, old/granny niche, 50 type-ins a day

such domain can get 25 or 90 typeins daily, so it depends rather on the traffic than just Ovt score

50 type ins is not bad, depending how bad you want it, you should offer anywhere from $1500 to 3k in my opinion. I recently paid $3k on a gay domain name that gets only 20 type ins a day, but I know that type of traffic converts much better than straight. Hope that helps.:)

I use a 30 factor analysis formula to value domains.

You can't just go by overture. That's be like saying a house is worth $500K just because its in a nice neighborhood. You have to do a full property inspection to get the real depth of value determined.

You price domains alot higher then what I do.

But then again $3k is not that much to make a deep inspection.

Though I am absolutely no domain expert I cannot believe this 30 x Overture valuation. According to Overture a webcam domain of mine has been searched over 200 times in December ... so my domain would be worth $6k ?! Bullshit if you ask me:2 cents:
