I like working with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro... Adobe After Effects is a good addition for effects.

Final Cut HD
|
Vegas.. it's so easy a monkey could use it. Trust me.. If I can use it anyone can. It's definitely not the best. But it's fucking easy to learn.
|
I dunno why everyone goes crazy for Vegas, I've never liked it... been an Adobe fan since the beggining. The fact that you can use all Adobe products in conjunction with one another makes their programs very powerful tools.
After Effects + Adobe Premiere = a killer combination |
i use videocharge :P

Tony404.. I think you are right. It doesn't matter what you chop your video with. As long as the end result is good.
My clients never cared what I used, and they were always happy with the end result. I could have used window's "my first video editor" for kids but told them I was on an Avid and they wouldn't be the wiser. |

Hmmm, Adobe hasn't crashed on me in a LONG while, it handles 24p and I'm pretty sure it handles HD also (last time I checked on their website they did, however I have not tested it yet). And as for sound tools, I prefer using a dedicated audio program to handle it. But I guess for people that are looking for in all-in-one package, ya, Vegas would be better. But for those that aren't afraid to add a few steps into the process to get better quality, go with Adobe |
Adobe Premiere!
