anyone ever try to steal your domain?
this makes twice now that i have had this sent to my email, someone trying to transfer one of my domains to another registrar..

Did you get your domain through yahoo? Or directly thru Melbourne IT?
Yahoo has been deactivating accounts that register adult domains lately. Beware.. |

Not so much as actually stealing it - but years ago we had a hosting company that refused to release our domain so we could shift it to another hosting company (I was the reg'd domain owner, but the former hosting company was down as technical admin. contact).
They tried justifying withholding the domain until all the recur billing accounts had expired...even though the new hosting company offered to honour all existing recur billing accounts. We had to have our lawyer draft up a legal request to Netsol in order to have the domain shifted to the new webhost. Lesson learned... |
lock your domains so they can't be transferred like this.
