I think it's more to do with them being skinny because they have a really REALLY fast metabolism... and that helps in these contest because the first thing they eat is turned to poop in about 20 mins... hehe

Man they do not even have 20 minutes to finish the competition. After it is all over of course you can leave the stage and fill a hefty bag with vomit if you choose.
