Do we exist?

I think of this question as a way of examining the individual and does the individual exist. I personally dont believe the individual exists. I know people who have had the same experiences and hopes past and present. In a world of 6 billion people there is no way each of those 6 billion people are different from the next, sure we may look slightly different, but I thought we weren't to judge one's exterior.

What do you think, do we exist?

The fact that we know we exist is what separates us from aliens.

Only if another group of people acknowledges that you exist.

You all only exist in the program of the chip that the aliens implanted in my brain.

The question of if we exist or not is interesting. Because even if we each individually exist, we still don't matter. Stalin said the death of one man is a tragedy, and the death of a million is a statistic. Yet people die all by their lonesome constantly, and are nothing more than statistics.

The only way you're going to avoid being a statistic is if you die of old age, and even then, people will remember that you lived to be 76. Not very old, but not very young either. You're still just a statistic. :pimp

If our existence is pointless, then why do we slave away the way we do? Why do we put ourselves through more stress than we were ever meant to handle? No reason. :upsidedow
