The decline of fishstocks on the east coast : (

Cod & Flounder fishing "TIME" will be cut by about 8-40%

Of course the loophole being.....less time = more boats & more effecient fishing

The government needs to put a catch limit on these guys & fast....or pretty soon our ocean will be devoid of fish.

As the nations hunger for seafood grows, our ocean is becoming a graveyard.....does anyone have the power to stop commercial fishing? The profits are so large, i don't know if it can be reversed at this point.

I was a commercial fisherman on the east coast for most of my life. There should have been regulations put on it years ago. From what I can see it will be a many years if ever for the fish population to come to half of what it was 20 years ago.

Everything'll be fine once we switch to Soylent Green.

the fact is, we have TOO MUCH food already in the united states, farmers recieve subsidies to not grow shit

yet we keep wiping out our fish stocks....

makes 0 sense

crabs in the chesapeak bay were in trouble for awhile, so they banned certain types of crabbing for awhile....last year showed a record # of crabs & the prices were back to what they were in the late 80's

so cutting back does help seafood stock
