Interesting, the same day Rumsfeld made that analogy Democratic pundit, civil rights activist and NAACP Chairman Julian Bond compares GOP/Republican Party to the Nazi Party and characterizing Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her predecessor, Colin Powell, as "tokens."

It's pretty obvious they used and discarded Powell.

Colin Powell resigned from his cabinet positions and retired back to private life so he could spend more time with his wife and family. He openly spoke about this on dozens of occasions during his last 6 months as serving as Secretary of State.

Venezuela Expels US Navy Attaché Over Alleged Spying
In Venezuela, a US navy attaché has been expelled for allegedly spying for the US government. President Hugo Chavez identified the attaché as Commander John Correa. Chavez accused Correa of setting the stage for a "Panama-type operation" ? a reference to the 1989 US invasion that led to the arrest of Panama leader Manuel Noriega and thousands of deaths. The US government denied its military officials had engaged in espionage.

On Capitol Hill, US National Intelligence Director John Negroponte warned against Chavez?s reelection, and said the Venezuelan leader is ?seeking closer economic, military and diplomatic ties with Iran and North Korea."
