NEW! Auto Image Resize code now in place on GFY
Did some more testing and recoding, and version 2 of the image resize code is now in place. If an image is greater than 630-pixels wide it will be auto-resized in the post display. Clicking on the image will bring it up in another browser window so that it can be seen at full size. I've tested this quite a bit and it works in IE7, IE6, Firefox, Netscape, Safari, and Konqueror.
It DOES NOT currently work in Opera though. Opera users will still get the image at full size along with horizontal scrollbars and distorted post table appearance. Oh well, I've got 98% of people fixed up. :) Test image (1400 x 1050) below... http://www.texasdreams.com/hugeimage.jpg |

thank you
|
The version of Opera I was testing with, was version 8.51. On that version the code wasn't working.
As long as it works for IE, Firefox, Netscape, Safari, and Konqueror, it was a GREEN LIGHT as that covers at least 98%. :thumbsup |
Kisses to TD
|
nice job!!!
but you should make the popup window scrollbars=on cause now it can't be scrolled |
FYI, the large image opens in a tiny window for me with IE7.
and how come you didn't use the vbulletin.org image resize mod and wrote a custom one? |

Very pink of you! :offtopic Sorry off topic question! I have pinkactivist.com and I was thinking of using it to start a breast cancer donation thing. I wouldn't take any money but it would be real pretty and link to the breast cancer organization. If and when I do this can I use this pic on the page? It would be perfect. A beautiful woman in pink with wings! BTW great job Texas! :thumbsup |
