Well, i think i'm fairly confident normally...
But if biz is well and also if i'm doing well with like staying active (working out and such)....the combo of that stuff makes me feel pretty confident in myself

I ride a constant emotional roller coaster with the ups and downs of my business. When something doesn't happen as planned I get pretty depressed. When I get that next large check though, I'm on top of the world.
When my business is doing unexpectedly bad, I feel my judgement become clouded, and my vision becomes murky. I find it hard to focus on what I need to do to pull out of the problem. I find myself questioning if I can even get to where I need to be.
But when it's doing well, everything becomes crystal clear and I feel like I can literally take over the world. I find it best to give myself pep talks every once in a while, and discuss in my head what it is that I need to accomplish, and what I need to do to make it happen. That is usually a clarifying moment that puts everything back into perspective.Comment

I think most of us have invested so much of our life (time, money, and emotions) that its almost impossible not to ride the roller coaster of business as it goes up and down.
I know that I am up when the company is up and down when the comapny is down, but its not the sole source of self confidence, but it is a factor.
