New anti-spam feature added to GFY board code!
 

Yippee! Another shiny NEW feature for GFY. :thumbsup

If a user has fewer than 30 posts, they will be unable to post a link or an image within a message.

And, if I find them uselessly bumping things to get to 30 posts, I have stronger methods of dealing with them. :helpme

great idea .. i would make it 50

good stuff man. also noticed board running much faster latly. good work.

might wanna think about a thread limit as well.. like something fairly large , maybe 10/day , theres no need for more than that

Done as a plug-in. Automatically checks the users post count when they create a thread or post a reply. If they are under 30 posts it gives them an error page, and the thread or post never makes it into the database. :)
