lets hope it fixes the issues with 1.5....FF has been going downhill as of late

Don't touch it. It kills all your themes and extensions. They're releasing a patch for the patch within 24 hours hopefully.

It's not up to Mozilla to support your themes and extensions. It's up the individual authors to update their themes and extensions to support new versions of Firefox.

tony286 02-01-2006 09:56 PM

my extensions work fine.

fetishblog 02-01-2006 09:59 PM

I just did the update. No broken themes or extensions here.

Doctor Dre 02-01-2006 10:01 PM

Everything is working fine here so why change it ?

Nookster 02-01-2006 10:03 PM

Wow, they did fix quite a few memory leaks. Noticable improvement.

KRL 02-01-2006 10:46 PM

A few people are having issues in the Mozilla forum. Might want to wait for the next night's build.

BoyAlley 02-01-2006 10:52 PM

Thanks for the heads up man. Installed it tonight, working great!

Vitasoy 02-01-2006 11:32 PM

"Fixes for several memory leaks." now that is sweet.

gecko 02-01-2006 11:48 PM

Most of the extensions will not be compatible... best to wait

Exactly. Besides, it advises you beforehand if it's going to affect any themes or extensions. If you upgrade anyways, you have no one to blame but yourself.
