As I have only been with PK for a short while I am unsure of exactly what is going on. I am however working on finding out exactly what happened.

From what I can see on the whois is something happened recently and I am not aware as of yet whether or not it was authorized.

Oh fuck, Kenyatech got it. Had the same problem with a domain for a company name awhile back. If you need help dealing with them, let me know.

how hard is it to register a domainname for 10 years, I pay $6.75 per year at Fabulous, would it set back a sponsor that much, see many programs can only afford to pay for one year at the time for their domains...

It didn't expire. It was hijacked.

I'm not sure what it is we have some trouble tickets in, we routinely renew domains in packets of around $1000 at a time with directnic so I am not sure what happened.

But it also appears as though this domain might have been registered through cave creek with an account for perfection jeff, so this would make me think that the domains were not locked and possibly got hijacked..

If anyone has any linking codes up, please replace the .com with .net

you will see that http://www.madisonteenhottie.net is functional. It should track your hits just the same as the other .com link all hosted galleries are functional on this as well..

I appologize for this mess, and I will see what we can do to rectify it.

Actually from the whois history, it expired on the 12th of December. No updates were made on it till Kenyatech picked it up the day it was released. Kenyatech deals in buying up expired domains, not in hijacking them.

Krille, I assure you we can afford domains.. We have in excess of 500 domains in our portfolio...

that sucks - good luck getting that back.

i remember when MaxCash had KarasXXX hijacked years ago by some shithead in Turkey or some shithole - New York Italians know how to take care of business - domain was back within days - not sure if the hijacker lived

Please change your links to the .net url ., this domain will be back soon hopefully as the domain only expired on the 12th.. so the hold time was not even up on it for the domain registrar account.. so something is fishy...

I'm telling you that Kenyatech is not doing anything fishy. They simply snag expired domains.

I mentioned before that I had one that I needed really bad and they snagged it up. If you play them right, they are very easy to deal with and you will have the domain back in a day or two. I don't want to sound negative, but looking at the whois info and how it changed, it looks like they snagged it fair and square. DirectNic will tell you there is nothing they can do.

If you want to know how we got ours back, feel free to message me and I'll show you exactly what we did.
