15 minutes ago I passed a phone number to baddog on ICQ and asked him to call it.
baddog is on the phone with my friend Tim who is on a train leaving Atlanta now. Eventually this trip of Tim's is going to land him here in Portland. When he arrives, he will be given a position as my business manager.
Right now he is on the phone talking to one of the most valuable and honest people I have ever met in this business. They are getting acquainted so that Tim may start building his networking skills and his list of true allies.
It's a different kind of approach to take two people who have never spoken and have one call the other with neither of them having a clue WTF is going on.....But hey, I'm seriously fucked up right now so it seems perfectly reasonable to me.
