Bush Speech -- Watch this stock go through the roof!

Bush was rambling about providing "rapid HIV" tests and all of those other AIDS crap...here are the guys who will clean house. The stock is even cheap now.

Ok, if you want MY OPINION why it will go through the roof...

ORASURE is an ORAL HIV test...it is already in use in clinics. It had a bit of a fall a few weeks ago because of some false positives...so it's cheap now. It is widely believed that the right wing would block FDA over the counter sales becasue it might discourage the use of condoms.

Well, now Bush is up there saying that quick testing must be more widespread and is talking about bringing back the Ryan White bill. Who is going to benifit from something like this more than anyone?

...ORASURE

So even if the FDA blocks Orasure...the sales are going to go up becasue of all this new goverment backing, but then...

If the FDA approves Orasure for over the counter...I would hold that stock for a few quarters and watch that shit go through the roof. It will become a part of modern dating and will replace condoms for a lot of couples. Hell, they could sell it at bars.

That's my stock pick for the day.

I hope you find it useful.

There are rapid HIV tests out already, but I'm thinking only like two are approved by the FDA. I assume there are dozens more in development. Is OraSure the clear industry leader in this sort of thing?

I really don't know much about these tests.

its the perfect gov stance. self eradication.

by the time we get to where the teens of today should get social security, they will end up oweing the gov at age 65. so why not endorse a product that promotes detecting a disease instead of preventing one? it only works in their favor.

spread aids first , detect it second kids.

:pimp

and the sheep followed GW the shepherd right into the social services cutting furnace.

It's already FDA approved and is used in clinics and hospitals. If (when) it goes "over the counter" that is where you can just sit there and watch the money pile up.

Normally, they say that the "if" is "built in" to a stock price, but this stock has taken a hit recently, so it is a great value.

There are other rapid HIV tests but no oral tests, so they have no competition.

IMO not true, if it gets blocked, its over for the product. the gov't will not back something not approved by the FDA. i took a quick look at the stock, i like it a lot, except for 2 things: it already trades at pretty high multiple, and secondly - you put your faith in whether the FDA will approve or deny it. what other products are out there that can compete with it it, any? is it pending patent, how far along in the FDA is it?

i have to do a bit more research.

i like the fact its only worth half a bill, and not one major ny investment house covers the stock - you can still get an info advantage over everyone else.

1. It is approved by FDA.
2. Yes, it does trade high, but not that high for the sector.
3. No...there is no competition now.
4. Yes, they have a patent.
5. Bonus: They also have an oral drug test that has just hit the market. I'm sure employers and probation officers are tired of messing with people's piss.
