FTP prog...WS, Cute or other?
 

I switched to Cute-FTP and like it better. Which do you like best?

use cute ftp but ace ftp is free and works well too. not much between them imho

filezilla its free with no bullshit.

I like CuteFTP Pro, but Bulletproof FTP is a close second.

I have been using Ws FTP Pro for years.. No problems here..

WS ftp pro the newest version make my day :)

I use Leap FTP. Pretty good and very easy to use.

Cute FTP pro here too.


Side note, any of them able to setup a direct server to server transfer?

I've never used anything other then Cute FTP...

I usually use flash fxp, but something is fucked up with their server and when I enter my serial, nothing what so ever happens. :( I can't even contact them for support cuz their whole site is down.

So, I downloaded fireftp for firefox and it gets the job done. :)

Now that Dreamweaver 8 lets you set file permissions, Cute FTP is gonna be collecting dust.

Filezilla & FTP Commander

I use wsftp pro.

I used to use smartftp which is an awesome freeware program as already mentioned in the thread.

I used to use WS_FTP pro but I switched to Filezilla.

The word "FREE" should be taken out of this thread. You pay for what you get. I guess it's about the business volume. (We could do with a dime store gig if we had to -xyz) ALL good..nice replies all around.:thumbsup

I love it; it just opens up a new tab to ftp in. It's bare bones simple, but it does everything I need it to and I like not having to run a whole other program that may or may not bog my system down.:thumbsup
