7, 10, 14 day Detox Kits - anyone tried??
anyone done one of those Detox Program kits? I picked up a 10 day one from the chemist/drugstore the other day and want to give it a shot. Its been a long summer and lots of partying but rugby season starts soon and I feel i should clean the body up a bit.
Are they any good? Do you get pretty sick a few days into the program? :helpme |
dunno, but I would be interested in the answer as well.

i dont know about that

Is this a euphemism for those drug detox kits? If so, don't waste your money - search erowid, their methods work as well as any, and are much cheaper.

I done it over a year ago for 7 days, didnt really do much for me because i eat pretty healthy.
You also have to stop alot of foods/drinks like coffee if i remember correct. Also make sure you get some prune juice otherwise its hard to shit :thumbsup |

I;ll probably start it in the next few days, or early next week as I have to go buy certain foods. Matt |
Despite reports like this http://www.abc.net.au/health/thepulse/s1531372.htm I am a convert!
Me and the missus did a 14 day over the counter detox where you stick to a very very boring and natural diet plan and take heaps of the tablets before and after each meal. no meat, no dairy etc etc. :warning My only advice is don't stray to far from the smallest room in the house for the first couple of days! I would (and should) do it again - I never felt better. I felt healthy, the whites of my eyes were white, I was regular (sorry), I lost a little weight 2kg (the wife lost lots 6kg). Good luck sticking to the plan! |
