Which one is better Dreamweaver MX or Dreamweaver 8?

I have been trying Dreamweaver 8 today. I dunno, it seems like MX is a little easier to use. 8 has a few new features that seem to just get in the way.

Maybe I need to give it some time. Have you tried it? Which one is better?

I use Mozilla Composer

I prefer Nightmareweaver MX

dreamweaver 8 has drag and drop images...you CAN NOT beat that

took them long enough too, fucking homesite had it from the beginning

I tried MX, but it seemed buggy to me, so I stayed with UltraDev 4. Granted, I tried it on a Win98 system...

i'm using MX 2004, works fine for me, so havent bothered changing. Will have to give 8 a try though

I'm using dreamweaver mx 2004 right now got 8 but just have not had time to mess with it. Hopefully this weekend

Using 8 right now, it can sharpen/soften images, has a zoom function, and as mention object drag & drop. I have yet to figure out how to get the page file names back to the bottom of the design view however.

I always used drag and drop in MX. Actually that's half of why I'm not enjoying 8... the images aren't dropping exactly where I'm dragging. It's fucking frustrating.

Dude, you have nearly 3000 posts in a month. Either you are a bot or a paid post whore from Manilla. Which is it?

I have both. I find that 8 is slow to load, but has some nice new features. I do as well like the drag and drop images.

yeah, I have noticed the slow loading shit....and it is slower in a few other areas too...I have a nice machine too so I know it ain't that

I'm currently using MX 04, V7.01 and I'm sticking to it. Does everything I want it to do in a WYSIWYG editor, I currently see no reason to upgrade.

Looks like Jan 05, which would be 1 year.

mine slowed a bit too, but once it is open I can't tell a difference. Aside from the drag and drop, I like the background FTP feature so i can still work on things while it is uploading or syncronizing.

Dreamweaver 8 is a good step in the right direction.

As for the file names at the bottom, mine are tabed at the top which i like a little better.

Ah, you have a point. Sorry about that.

There's been a lot of Pattaya posters on this board lately. I'm a little on edge.
