Help with FF 1.5 (purrty please)

So I just downloaded 1.5. Now it won't let me download new software.

It tells me that "software installation is currently disabled. Click Edit Options... to enable it and try again"

So I do that, and I can't find anything to enable software installation.

Am I overlooking somthing in there? I don't see it.

Thanks,
DWB

I *think*

if you go to tools, then down to options, then click content in the thingie that pops up, there is an option for whether to prompt before installing themes and shit. If you click on the button that says exceptions you can edit what domains are able to install software. Or just uncheck the prompt option, I suppose.

I don't think that option is in 1.5.

Its usually best to wait when upgrading software, no matter who makes it.

I'm holding off on the latest Thunderbird upgrade to 1.5 and sticking with 1.07 because there are a lot of issues being posted on the Mozilla boards.

I upgraded Firefox to 1.5 and have had no issues at all with that.

Actually, forget getting the answer from GFY. You're much better off going to the Mozilla Forums.
