To all you FAT FUCKS (aka metabolism, aka flame me)
Funny how fat people have found ways of acceptance between themselves. Oh, I dont wanna be built like a teenage boy... Oh it's my metabolism... Look bitch, you can't eat as much as someone that is active and be the same size! If you don't do much exercise, (like most webmasters) then you don't need much food to live on, you don't need 3 full meals to sit around in front of a computer! Only eat when you need it, not when you "feel like it" you vicious fucks! 3 meals a day isn't "standard", I know for a fact I eat less than that. Jesus, do you guys really believe what you're saying?¡# 'Cuz it's insulting my intelligence. This shit is simple fuckin' 2nd grade maths; if you eat more than you spend energy, you gain weight, and vice versa. If you spend more energy than you eat, you lose weight. Want proof? Don't eat for 2 full weeks, and try explaining to me how your "metabolism" or "genetics" suddenly don't apply when it's over a 2-week period. Yeah, I said it. If your metabolism burns fat slower, then you don't need all that shit you eat, since you can last longer, on less. Eat less then! Discipline yourself! You know what's so fuckin' funny about this thread? I'll be bashed by Peaches, Headless, sarah_webinc (just to name a few, I could go on forever) and many other soldiers of the fat fucks army, and they will outnumber me, and it will look like I was wrong - when I was really not! I know this thread will make me a lot of enemies, and personnally I don't think that a person being fat is the end of the world, they're probably good at plenty other things... But denying this is discrediting those who actually work out and eat well, even though sometimes you'd like to watch TV instead of going to the gym, and eating a fat steak instead of fuckin' veggies... Breaking news, nobody likes veggies!!!

Almost everything you said was wrong. For starters, if you stop eating or reduce what you eat to match your activity level then your not going to lose the expected weight. What will happen is your body will start burning muscle first. Stop eating or eating less slows your metabolism thus slows the rate you burn fat. To burn fat, you have to eat several smaller meals, plus you have to eat the right stuff. Just eating 1 meal a day but eating mcdonalds, and substituting water for soda will not make you lose weight, you have to eat proper foods in the correct amounts and ratios. And yes, everything plays a role in someones weight, diet, exercise, genetics, metabolism, stress and so on. |

The ' facts ' you made are all wrong.
Particularly the one about eating one meal per day, if you deprive your body of food it will store what it can as fat. Consult your doctor / trainer / dietitian for an eating and exercise plan that will suit your needs. |

What this forced me to do was my initial bad decision of not sitting down and eating breakfast, forced more bad decisions through out the day. For lunc if I was really hungry I would grab something quick and unhealthy like a burger, or snack on chips etc. dinner would roll around and I could eat a normal dinner, but the damage is done. Or what else would happen is if I ended up being up late at night hunger would kick in again and rightfully so. So I'd end up having one of those skipped meals right before bed time. Now, this was part of my initial weight gain. I was never over 200 pounds, the weight I have gained since then is because of the bad habits I created during this time continuing to carry over until now...things like constant snacking, eating unhealthy foods at bad times etc. |
