Buying content - does it pay?

I have been looking at some content providers that sells photosets for $10 and up........ Sets like this is not exclusive so I wonder if I make a paysite with this content, could I make money from this or will I just find that the photos are "overused"?

I can't give you an answer to this, but I've noticed several paysites that do exactly what you said.

In my opinion they have no chance in the long-run, but it can be a good way to start your business.
You have to consider your reputation, though. If you have a good idea and want to start something big, better not use content that's "freely" for everyone.

If you can pay surelly the exclusive content is much better. But don't worry if you can't pay for exclusive. Buy good quality. The most important factor is PROMOTION. If you promote your site well you can sell almost anything.

Agree! Its all about good traffic and good packaging.

Joe we shoot a lot of exclusive content for a lot of people.Plus we have our own movie division where we shoot our own feature films. Content is gold. The better it is on more exclusive it is to you the more it will make you. Let me know if you need me. icq 4946885
