question about ipod domains, will apple get owners to sign over
do you ever think that will happen, since i guess they do have the ipod item trademarked.
|
I used to own Applecomputer.com for about 3 years and then Apple came after me with a slew of lawyers and threats and made me turn it over. They did not pay me one dime for it.

well if they made ipodlounge.com (an ipod fansite) turn into Ilounge you can imagine they wont like the dudes exploiting it for porn

boils down to a ton of things.
if it comes to there attention that you are making money they could be making... ofcourse it would have to come to there attention. but yes.. if they want your domain be prepared to hand it over on a silver platter. |

I would think that Apple would go after (for example) ipodporn.com but not podcastporn.com
"Podcast" has become a term for something that never has to involve an iPod or Apple at all and it would be more difficult for them to go after domain names including it. |

I register my domains with a Mexico address, I don't recognize American laws.

ipod = international plan of the day in the military :2 cents:

The Anti-cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act of 1999 provides for statutory damages of up to $100,000 PER domain.
Cybersquatting --don't do it! |
