Why is that so fucked up? I haven't seen the new one, but I don't see any problems with a mature 12 year old seeing the first one.

I think most 12 year olds can handle a movie about vampires and werewolves. Hell, I brought my kids to see Freddy vs Jason. I watched all the big horror movies when I was a little kid, I turned out somewhat OK. (haven't killed anyone yet)

Parents let me watch Alien when i was 6.

there is sex in this one a ton of graphic violence and its rated r which means it wasnt planned for 12 yr olds

Saw it last night... wasnt sure Id like it.. but turned out alright..better than I probably thought it would be. I liked it. & you cant go wrong with Kate.. totally a hottie!!

Was the movie worth a damn?

Was worth it to me, great violence gore, and the sexy scene was great...showed enough but left the goods up to the imagination..done perfectly. Hell, I'd bring my 12 year old son to see this, I want him to be cool and not made fun of in school! He needs to understand what men enjoy =P

pretty sure it was pg1 when i went, its unrealistic violence so i'd take him.
