She gives a mistaken impression here. Herpes is a ticket out for someone who doesn't want to be with you anyway. If they want to be with you (assuming they are an adult), it doesn't matter.

Where it can be the exclusive deal killer is when someone who has it won't shut up about it.

cyber_ninja 01-28-2006 04:59 PM

wow,she has legs all the way up to her ass, never saw that befor

FYI, EVERYONE HAS HERPES, but in todays day, one in three show signs of outbreak.. It is a disease that lives in your spine, a relative of chicken pox, and it comes out when it is triggered by exposure to another carrier.

There are two forms, and one will transfer to the other form if the circumstances are right. Not everyone with herpes is a dirty hoebag either.. It surprises me how many people have the misperception that you have to be DIRTY to get herpes..

You learn a hell of a lot when you have to sit through hours of cross contamination and blood borne pathogen classes...

EVERYONE HAS IT!.. I'm not kidding you, it is a disease that is DORMANT In your spine, when the right condition happens, you will show symptoms and it goes into outbreak stage this is when you have the full blown simplex virus, this is when you have more outbreaks.. you can get an outbreak one time, and never have another ever again, very rare, but it happens...

Also, some of you may not know..

You can get herpes on the inside of your nose, around your eyes, around your fingernails, toenails, and babys born from mothers in an outbreak can get herpes across their entire body at birth.

Please educate yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herpes

Transmission
Herpes is contracted through direct skin contact (not necessarily in the genital area) with an infected person. The virus travels through tiny breaks in the skin or through moist areas, but symptoms may not appear for up to a month or more after infection.

sickbeatz 01-28-2006 08:16 PM

well.. once the sores are gone.. you stop thinking about it.. and trust me, it's not something you want to think about -- so the thought about having it will slowly deminish until you forget that you do have it. at that point you can continue as normal and as far as you're concerned; you don't have it :1orglaugh

Are you fucking kidding me? I've taken classes on this shit and you tell me to educate myself?

If you wanna start pasting shit from websites, the here ya go:
--
When a person with herpes is not experiencing an outbreak, the herpes virus remains dormant in the system at either end of the spinal column. Genital herpes resides in the nerve cells at the base of the spinal column. Oral herpes infects the nerves at the top of the spinal column and base of the brain.
--
It's a virus that lays dormant in your spinal column, you may never show signs of it EVER.. but it is there.. and when the contact with a carrier happens, it trigers the virus to manifest... the trigger in your post above would be skin contact with another persons sore... I am merely proving a point that everyone has the unmanifested version of the virus in them.. but it's waiting for the day that the proper trigger is there to come out..

media 01-28-2006 08:48 PM

Lord Nelson,

Just so you know, I was in the tattoo industry for a number of years, we were REQUIRED by the state health department to take in depth classes yearly on disease transmition to keep current with things happening when it comes to cross contamination and blood borne pathogens when dealing with open sores and wounds such as a tattoo.

Well no shit, once you contract it, it lies dorman in your body.

But no one gets born with herpes.

No one is born with herpes?? Exposure to herpes happens daily with births..

Think about this for a second.. over time the global population has been exposed and exposed and exposed..

here is a child who contracted the virus and experienced an outbreak of neonatal herpes.

http://www.zambon.es/areasterapeutic...rge/h7o006.jpg

Women expose their children to the virus at birth, the carrier may never show symptoms of the virus, but may be able to still transmit the virus. this is why they now say 90% of the population has one form of herpes or another.. which I would say is damn close to EVERYONE like I said

media 01-28-2006 09:01 PM

I appologize if the above photo offends anyone.. :(

yes children can contract herpes at birth IF their mother has it.
if both parents are clean, you dont get born with herpes.

and you said EVERYONE had it.

(btw, ts not 90% of the population. its 50%-80% http://www.herpes.com/)

some do, some don't. I'd venture to guess that many don't. My wife picked it simplex 1 at 14 from a drinking glass, the person who 'gave' it to her had no idea.
