I never knew an octopus could be this aggressive of a predator!

DAMN! That's fucking wild....
I've seen octopus before when I was diving on the reefs. They're amazing to see in person. http://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...misc/shark.gif |
i remember reading something about flipping a shark over on its back, totaly fucks em up.
so did that thing eat em, or just kill em for the fuck of it. |
great, now im afraid of octopuses too :disgust
that shark is not an aggressive breed. and was only 3 to 4 feet long. I dont think that the octopus would have tried that with a baby great white.
all i know is, if i was that cameraman... i would split.
Haha that shark didn't even really fight back.
The octupus is like "Who's your daddy now, bitch" |
looks nasty...:Oh crap
now im really scare to go out on an open sea... |
oopss....double post
Wow crazy stuff ... pretty amazing
I dive with that species of octopus frequently - they are the world's largest and they live in the Puget sound in Washington. They can get up to a 100lbs but there are diver rumours of 400lbs. Even a four foot nurse shark - while not having the rep a great white has is still capable of a nasty bite. As the video points out the octopus is just the surprisingly better predator.
wow that was nuts! thanks for the post
Damn, snatched his ass with the quickness
woooow nooo shit
That's pretty impressive. I've heard about this video before but never seen it.
are the octopi family related to spiders?
wow, that was an impressive attack on the octopus'es part.
Took that shark and wrapped him up quick. Nice video. :thumbsup |
this is really old but very cool to wathc
that's like one of those shark that really isn't .. more like sand shark.
thats new to me, cool video
ok.. now watch this thread get timeline pics
which I would include myself but I got none.. and am too lazy to look for some hehehe |
Jesus that was wild...
Hafta' wonder if that octupuss was just lucky...or that's the outcome the majority of the time between the two. I'd imagine if the shark managed to get itself in a good position, a bite would tear that octupuss in half.
Freaky video, regardless. |
must be a babyshark :winkwink:
