NATS vs. CCBill

An interesting summation I came across in my stats today....

PREFACE : I'm not bashing anyone, this is purely informational.

Progam - Ho Dough

Website - My Daughters Fucking a "Black Dude"

Stats CCbill pre NATS implementation ---------> 1:543

Stats NATS post implementation -------------> 0:4709

Hrmm..... Same traffic, same surfers, what's different?

:upsidedow :disgust

Stallion 01-28-2006 12:32 PM

damn thats a huge difference..

Morgan 01-28-2006 12:34 PM

ya, but how much traffic did you actually send to get those numbers??? some days can be way off from others.

fuzebox 01-28-2006 12:36 PM

That's fucked up...

Are the CCBill stats from the same period of time? The site is relatively new, and when it first came out you'd experience better stats than now.

FWIW I do great with Hodough w/ NATS :)

No Fuze... the CCBill stats were from before the NATS implementation. The site been around less than 6 months or so I'd guess. I'm thinking it's still pretty fresh because I get gally submissions for it all the time. :2 cents:

NATS is a billing system not a CC processor.

Most of us understand that. So you add a billing system and shit tanks? Go back to CCBill direct! LMAO

Sure... we all have up days and down days. :) Like I said I'm not bashing... I just find it interesting. I have another program approching 0:14,000 now that's fucked up... LMAO

Mutt 01-28-2006 12:45 PM

do you still have access to the stats from that program via the CCBILL Affiliate Admin or once a program switched to NATS you can't do that?

I don't think so, I think once it's NATS the CC Bill Aff Admin show zilch.:2 cents:

Baker Rd 01-28-2006 01:37 PM

create a local copy of the tour and send your traffic directly to ccbill / paycom join forms.

Ray@TastyDollars 01-28-2006 01:38 PM

Can you please post your paysite link code?

Your ccbill ID isn't deleted once they implemented NATS, it's still there, and you can still use it. You just won't see any stats via the NATS admin.

Actually you might not get paid if you bypass NATS :) NATS should seriously consider replacing smarty with smarty-lite and removing pear completely.

That was my thought too... you can use an old CCBill link code but on entry to the tour it converts it to NATS anyway. :2 cents:

I asked them to let me sign-up for a "ccbill only" program. Im slowly starting to send traffic only to such programs.

Here's what I don't get. Obviously, some affiliates don't like NATS, I have heard it in threads, and from ICQ conversations. Some affilaite love NATS. So, why wouldn't the program owner make different tours? One tour (each) for CCBill/Paycom/Other only (Keeping affiliate paid by CCBill), & One tour for NATS.

It can't be that hard, just make a subdomain, copy all the files, and change the join pages.

Makes sense to me, unless I am missing something.

Doctor Dre 01-28-2006 02:37 PM

Tons of people are bashing NATS, and tons of people are bashing CCbill sponsors. In the end, there are so many more factors then that.

Ray... I wouldn't think so.. I've been using HD all the way through the transition. I've even tried using the latest coding. :(

I've had good and bad experiences with both for sure.:2 cents:

This isnt news, when any program starts with CCBill and goes over to cascading its always the same storey in my experiance. Maybe its not the same for everyone, but its always the same for me
