Photog lens question

I need advice on a lens to buy... figured I'd ask here since there are a lot of great photogs.

I've got a Cannon EOS Rebel T2, and I wanted to buy a great zoom lens for amateur wildlife photography. Whats a good buy for under $1k?

Thanks in advance!

Photodo.com has ratings on canon lens. Would suggest you get an L but that would be above your price range. Best of luck.

If that's for shooting outdoor shots.

If you are shooting models, then a more normal lens should do.

if you want better images, stick with canon glass and not tamron/sigma etc

if you're on a really tight budget, then go with those other brands.
