Verotel pays via Paymaster. I don't know if Paymaster is a separate company for tax purposes or they are independent and also pay out for other programs too.

The cheques I receive clearly say they're a Verotel payment on the payslip section.

PimpRoll is J.S.S. Networks.

Also nothing to do with Red Personals.

So you just received a cheque with nothing else attached to it?

It's more of how I received it after it was deposited a week and a half ago...

What gets me is that it's an amazingly small amount. I just hate having with my bank putting holds on future check deposits because of a company's "bank communication error". It's not like this means I'm not paying my mortgage this month... It means that this is the 7th check in a 1 year period that has come back (from various sponsors) and my bank isn't too happy.

What gets me the most is that this is a check from a CC processor. Shouldn't these be the most reliable? :helpme

This is the main reason I personally try to opt for epass payouts. Bounced cheques cost ~30 bucks here and like you said if it's a 'small amount' it becomes a gigantic pain in the arse!

Out of interest how long does it take for cheques to clear for you US guys? Here(Australia) it's ~20 business days + $10 charge to deposit *each* cheque

My bank used to clear instantly due to the amount in my accounts and the fact that I've never bounced a check. Then these damned NSF checks popped up and I now have a 5 day hold on all checks (except for the first $500). :mad:

If you've been with the same bank for a while it might be worth having a chat with your manager about a better deal. I went from:

- $10 per cheque, immediate clearance up to $AUD200, otherwise 4-6 week wait for collection (ouch)

to

- $15 for unlimited cheques, immediate clearance, unlimited amount (I routinely deposit $5k+)

If you have a sizeable balance, or security such as a home loan then you've got some pulling power. BTW, I never actually negotiated the above, it just sort of fell into place over a couple of years. I don't think it's going to get much better than that. :)

Paymaster = Verotel/TicketsClub Payments :winkwink:
