Google fucked me!
 

One of my Domain's just got spidered a couple days ago by Google and my link popularity vanished!! How could this happen? I lost massive positioning... :feels-hot

welcome to the world of search engines. I used to have the #2 spot for public nudity on google but then at an update I dropped to low 100's :(

I had a handful of pages in the top 5 listings for many months and now they are totally gone, no where to be found.

Is google still listing dmoz listed sites?? all that disappeared are listed at dmoz.

Google has been acting drunk lately. The last update was extremely late and, from what I heard, it was because they were changing the algorithm for link popularity again. Alot of people have shifted dramatically with the last indexing.

Google only counts links to you if they are a PR4 or higher. So if the sites linking to you dropped in PR, then your link pop will go down, and therefore also your own PR.

Get some high PR sites linking to you.

dunno, but either way you will have to wait until the next indexing and updating which (hopefully) will happen at the end of the month.

I feel for ya, man. It sucks having to wait for them fucking robots after you lost positioning. In the meantime, take Wildman's advice and find some currently high PR sites to link to you. You never know what google has in store for us next month:Hollering

The update would explain why hits have jumped up on a couple of my sites :)
It's swings and roundabouts with them. Build enough and a few will always get good rankings.

Yeah, I also lost a lot of good traffic from Google, that pisses me off :( Why do they have to update all the time ?? ha ha ha.
