Grabbing still off of WMV clips, what do you use?

I'm trying to grab a couple still to make into thumbs from a WMV clip. I use the print screen for PS and I have also tried Hypersnap. Both will capture the image but it's all messed up and only saves a black screen.

What are you using to do this?

Thanks,
DWB

Windows movie maker, comes stock in WinXP. I'm sure there's other tools out there, but for the occasional few I do, works for me.

I use Frameshot to capture stills. With all the short cut keys, you can be extremely efficient with it. You can also set it so that the black crap gets trimmed off the sides and you can resize it to anything you want right off the bat.

Turn yer video excelleration off in the WIN XP players options/preferences.

Its a slider, turn it off then do a print screen and paste into a new PS document.
