What if you get a rank #1 listing, how much sales is it worth?

Many webmasters would be lucky to get one sale. While a good webmaster can do anywhere from 20-100 sales

It depends on EVERYTHING man. Content, sponsor, ads, text.

My first gallery was listed in the Overflow and I got two sales, don't know if that's good or not.

Your question is sort of like us telling you we bought a cow, and asking you how much milk it might or might not give... How the heck would YOU know? Same as, how do WE know what you can do on thehun? :)

I did excellent with a gallery on the Hun.... He has great traffic, you can really tell his surfers respect him.... His gallery spot was worth it... Make sure you book one now, cause there is a long waiting list...

my suggestion would be to go for it. Ask thehun how much he charges, and if its under $18323.25 you will make money. But remember to subtract the advertising costs from your profit to figure out your net profit. But you should be smart enough to already realize that.

I was in a fucking hurry one night and threw togther a shtty TGP with too many ads on it and submitted it to the HUN just to say I did something. He accepted it and I sold 12 memberships.

Other times I have taken my time and made some pretty sharp TGPS and they didn't do shit, maybe one signup...I've never figured the traffic at the Hun out.

I do know that traffic from the smaller TGPS seems to convert a little bit better...they aren't as accoustomed to such a wide range of free hardcore porn.

Yep had 2 listings in the last 2 weeks....

One did alright... About 15 sales... The second one did only 7...

Nothing to write home about but I have to agree about the shitty galleries doing well! It's really funny! My shitty galleries did way better than my scruptulously designed galleries.

Say you make a killer big tits gallery promoting a big tit sponsor, and one of the pics shows 2 babes together . . . and he captions it "lesbian posers" . . . you're fucked!

I don't often submit to TGP's. Most FPA's to SE's, free sites etc. However my best effort with the hun was 12 signups to a submission - 10 pics of an average looking girl - not one pubic hair - just a hint of boob. Well, the huns surfer's might be used to jerking off to bitches being boned by their dobermans, so I guess extreme softcore might be a turn on for these guys ;)

I got 4 sales that was my record of one listing, most of the time I get 2sales per listing.

Gotta agree with the whole design issue. Not long ago I made 10 sales from a gallery with (I thought) some very dodgy text links. Soon after I made a nice looking gallery that was meant to draw the surfer in to a pretty, custom sponsor graphic (and text links too) and it made 3. Seems big, bold and obvious non-graphic ads can work well with him.

Either was, he still always more than pays the BW bills :)

BTW, I presume you realise you gotta pay for the No1 spot?

I think that the top listings are sold spots, not sure though.

As there are rates for the top15 (if I remember correctly) I think you'll find the top15 are paid for.
