Checkout: "Starting a 3rd-rate webhosting-reseller for dummies". A lot of people here have had great "success" following that program.

Hosting Setup

I have my own hosting business
and its very difficult (unless you got a lot of money to throw at it)

if you're too expensive then people wont come
if you're too cheap then you need lots more people, and people also have the attitude, whys it so cheap

its taken us 4 years but we are now srating to see a total profit from it after clearing all the start up debts, bladehost also has a good PR now also

my advice to make money is .. is to find an established business, get a reseller account with them, fill it up and then sell the customers to the hosting company, then move along and do the same again and again and again. If you get about 10 going at a time you can make some big money on it

hope this helps

its what i recommend .. you are going to be fighting for customers who might not stay with you for very long ... collect em together and then sell em on and start again, that way you get a quick turn around for your cash without the headaches
