I was in this biz. Most of my sites were ~ accounts (the old tilde personal home space off any dialup account back then). It was fun getting calls from ISPs regarding bringing down their whole networks with traffic. (of course, most ISPs back then had broke dick T-1 lines, and that was smokin'!) lol

At that time I was a UNIX Systems Administrator at a national ISP.

I was learning in the great american schools :)

I don't really miss it.
