who 01-26-2006 03:57 PM

Good they found out. I hope his surgery goes well.

I don't think people should live each day like it's their last.. I understand what you mean but hell... I'd be running naked though the streets with a plumb in my ass if I thought it was my last day... and nobody wants that.. :)

gangbangjoe 01-26-2006 03:59 PM

fuck...

i hope everything will work out fine

storys like this makes me wanna go to the doc and get a complete checkup NOW

Your friend has all my sympathy. My elder step-daughter was similarly diagnozed when she was only 17 and neither traditional open surgery nor gamma knife effected a cure. I hope the prognosis for your friend is better.

Can happen to anyone. My girlfriend (26 yrs old) has a cancerous tumour on her thyroid, having it removed on March 3rd.

No, Its a malignant tumour that is 3cm in diameter.

JamesK2 01-26-2006 04:35 PM

My mother had one removed a week ago. I feel ya bro.

kristin 01-26-2006 04:37 PM

My dad last March had a tumor on his pituitary gland and had to have it removed through a procedure through his nose, okay gone fine.

Well, the day after Chris and I renewed our vows in November my dad dropped a bomb on us. The tumor came back, wrapped around the optic nerve and he had to have brain surgery to remove it ... again.

Devastating. My dad is my hero and he is the most important person in my life. I went home for the surgery and I've never been more impressed that someone had his eyes open the night of the surgery and was home 3 days later.

I'm sorry for your friend, but it is these things that make us hold onto life more dearly.

Wiggles 01-26-2006 04:42 PM

that kind of thing is so scary, no real way to predict it.

You can have all the money, success, and everything else in the world, but when you don't have your good health you're screwed.

Spunky 01-26-2006 06:20 PM

I hope your friend gets through it ok..damn scary shit and needs your support

Mr.Right - Banned For Life 01-26-2006 06:23 PM

This is my motto in life and it is very simple:

"Live today as you are not going to be here tomorrow".

So whatever you are puting of doing, do it now and make it happen, becuase there is no tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

I had an epileptic attack attack like 2 years ago. They also thought it was a tumor in my head. Got CAT anf MRI scans but they didn't find anything. I got an epileptic test but the results were also negative - I don't have it. They don';t know what happened to me :)

reynold 01-26-2006 08:00 PM

We still don't know how that operation would turn out. I hope the best for your friend man.
