Fractured Toe

Hey people, I was just wondering if anyone has ever fractured a toe. I think that I fractured one of my little toes, I was walking down the stairs in the dark and thought that I was on the last step when I wasn't. My toe got caught on the stair and I heard a crack on it, but I don't know if it was a crack sound or a cracking bone sound, he he. The frickin thing is all swollen now. It's not broken because I can still move it just fine, but it's a little painful.

I know that some people say that there's no sense going to the doctor, that there's not much that they can do, that it'll heal on it's own, that the only thing that they'll do is tape it to the toe next to it and charge you an arm and a leg.

If I had insurance, I wouldn't mind as much, but I'm not gonna spend hundreds of dollars for someone to tape up my toe when I could do it myself.

Actually my toe broke only a few weeks back. I went to the doctor because my toe didn't look good at all. It was a good thing I went because it was very badly broken, they had to manually pull it into right place (pleasant). That's all they did, they did call me a few days after, when my xrays came that I should go to surgery. I didn't go, no time for such. My toe still hurts like hell...

So if your toe is in the right direction (mine wasn't) just tape it to another toe for a few weeks. But if the toe is hanging or twisted, go see a doc. :2 cents:

Hey man, thanks a lot, I appreciate your opinion. I'm sorry to hear about your toe. Like I say, I can move it just fine and it's aligned like it usually is, it's just swollen quite a bit, so I hope that I'll be ok.

It pisses me off though, the stupid way that it happend. I guess that shit happens :)

When bad things happen to good people, it is always a good idea to consult the Bible and see what God wants you to do. From the Book of Matthew:

5:29 "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee; for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell."

5:30 "And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee; for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell."

I guess you should cut the fuckin' thing off.

I had a fractured toe, I tried to kick a guy and ended up kicking a table very hard...

I didn't really notice that it was fractured, but it swole...

I went to the docter and he taped it together with another toe after he had taken xray pixs. He told me to let it rest and in 1-2 weeks it was back to normal...

There can be complications though and it can be broken with out you knowing it...
