Are you happy with you ISP?
 

I am in the midst of switching from cable to DSL. I ordered the DSL Extreme package exactly a week ago and I called to see why the installer didn't show like he was supposed to at 1pm. When I called, they had now idea what the hell I was talking about.

I jumped thru the hoops and talked to a number of people from ther today only to have to replace the order that I already placed a week ago. I told thme that I made my living online, but that made no difference: I was just going to have to wait 4 more business days to have the modem delivered (counting the weekend, another week).

I called back and told them I was just not going to be able to do that and finally got somewhere. They are now shipping the modem overnight.

*sigh*

How do you guys feel about your ISP?

i have comcast, they are pretty good. $60 a month is pretty steep, but lately they have been good. at first they went down a few times here and there, but like i said...lately they've been good......

Trick with isp : Always ask to talk to manager straight up... and when the 2nd person take the phones, ask for the REAL manager.

I'm happy with mine... great speed, no downtimes, no problems. The setup time always sucks thought... I had the same problem

my isp is shit, too much money, too low speed, to low bandwitht, unfortunelly, that's only (one more egzist, but is like that) isp that offer dsl here
I pay 40hahaha8364; for 512/128 k and 5 G of transfer

yes... cable is fast...

Mediacom, bought out AT&T here in the midwest. Been real good to deal with.

Seventh year on cable here...and no complaints.
