How important is family?

And how hard has yours let you down?

Bigfuck 01-26-2006 01:34 AM

It is important you have to take care of your family

FlogTheLog 01-26-2006 01:36 AM

they are the most important thing in the world. :)

Havent been really let down hard by them at all, they always back me 100% and i do the same to them aswell :thumbsup

Doctor Dre 01-26-2006 01:36 AM

It's different for everybody... for me it's everything. They helped me through a lot, and I hope I can help them back one day ;)

gangbangjoe 01-26-2006 01:39 AM

mine is always there for me.

ok there are troubles sometines. But that just happens especially when you love someone

phonesex 01-26-2006 01:42 AM

There are issues in all families. But, from my experience, when SHIT happens, your family is most likely the one there to help you.

Sarah_Jayne 01-26-2006 02:24 AM

I am the sort that doesn't want them living next door to me but I know when I need them they will come running and I will do the same for them.

minimouse 01-26-2006 05:11 AM

Family is the most importent thing in the world.

Theo 01-26-2006 05:19 AM

number1, rarely there's a day i dont have communication with my mother, sister (a bit more rare) n' grandmother

Murderous 01-26-2006 05:22 AM

My family has nothing but fucked me all my life. My own mother has had me thrown in jail for absolutely no reason and has caused me grief unimaginable to you or anyone here.

But I would stab you if you so much as took a chicken wing off their plate.

Turf 01-26-2006 05:44 AM

family in my world doesnt matter squad fuck... they are never there when you have the need for their help but they expect me to be there for their begandcall ?? hell no... fuck family...

find some good friends that you can trust and that will help you at all times no matter what the problem or consequenses might be... thats way more usefull to me atleast...

Dagwolf 01-26-2006 05:46 AM

Looks like it depends on the family.

Veterans Day 01-26-2006 05:47 AM

Never let down and family always comes first:2 cents:

andr 01-26-2006 06:51 AM

It's the most important thing in ur life. Because if u don't have family or don't care about them, u feel lonely.

Stallion 01-26-2006 06:58 AM

I agree my family has always been there when I needed them, and I have always been there when they needed me. Family comes first.

swedguy 01-26-2006 07:00 AM

Family is important.
They should stand behind you in what ever you choose to do, not infront of you want to do.

selena 01-26-2006 07:00 AM

Depends.

Are we talking about the family I have with my two sons?

If so, then that is more important than my next breath.

If we are talking birth family, then I'm going to feel differently about it.

everestcash 01-26-2006 07:09 AM

Family is most important in my life, but YMMD.

who 01-26-2006 07:14 AM

I don't have a child yet, so I think family is not very important to me. But once I have a little bugger of my own, it will be the #1 thing in my life.

LauraLee 01-26-2006 07:19 AM

Family is everything. I also considered my true friends to be family as well, and nothing is thicker then blood.

BlackCrayon 01-26-2006 07:28 AM

well i don't have my 'own' family. ie wife, child etc. but the family i do have, have never let me down. ever time i've fucked up, they've been there. ever time i've succeeded, they've been there. i can't really complain at all. aside from my sister stressing me out with her very bad decisions.

Screaming 01-26-2006 07:48 AM

They are the 1st thing in my life.

Sosa 01-26-2006 07:58 AM

i love my family.

MacDaddyPlaya 01-26-2006 08:05 AM

As Don Corleone said, "a man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man"

Ace_luffy 01-26-2006 08:35 AM

an inspiration , why you dreamin

bjjb 01-26-2006 08:40 AM

My dads side of the family is the greatest and most supportive family a person could ask for. We're close. My mom's on the other hand is all fucked up. Incest, child abuse and other shit no one will admit or talk about. And my momcashed in my life insurance policy about 10-12 years ago to support her gambling habit. I coulda sent her to prison, and even talked to the local prosecutoir, but she made restitution (after tryinmg to make me out to be the bad guy) and friends convinced me to not press charges. I havent talked to any one on that side of the family in over 10 years. I run into my mom once ior twice a year and she even said hi once, I just walked away. Funny thing is, her and her family used to talk shit about my dad's side of the family. Thank God I didnt listen lol

Vitasoy 01-26-2006 09:10 AM

Very important, whenever I need help they're there for me.

Furious_Female 01-26-2006 09:14 AM

Blood or not blood related, whomever you consider to be in your family is important enough to love unconditionally, be loyal to, but not necessarily have to like. Family has many definitions... the old saying "Your friends are who you'd want as family and your family are people you'd never want to know if you weren't related to them." (paraphrased)

There's many people within my family that I consider strangers and a select few outside of my bloodline that I consider family. Family is important but shouldn't be forced upon anyone because it's also important to get back what you put in.

PaulB IYP 01-26-2006 09:19 AM

Family is the most important thing in your life.
Mine has never let me down and I will never let them down.
I'm going home this weekend just to chill with the parents. Do that at least once a month.

LittleSassy 01-26-2006 09:37 AM

tis the most important thing in my whole life

reynold 01-26-2006 11:25 PM

My family is my strength and my happiness. :)

pornguy 01-26-2006 11:30 PM

My wife and son are the most important things to me in the world. Then comes my brothers sister and mom. Father passed away years ago.

kristin 01-26-2006 11:39 PM

My parents taught me to work for everything I have ... my Dad is my hero and it's a two way street, while they have let me down, I have let them down. But it's stuff you forgive and forget.

Family is family ... it's VERY important.

nastyboy1 01-27-2006 01:10 AM

My wife, daughter and friends mean the world to me but family... (mother, father etc).. :1orglaugh

Assholes...
look...anyone can breed..few can parent

wdsguy 01-27-2006 01:11 AM

its all about family for me.

nastyboy1 01-27-2006 01:12 AM

Oh..and for all of those who have good relationships with your parents...I'm envious.

Stacey_JoinRightNow 01-27-2006 01:42 AM

It complete you as a person, I mean for me my family is also my other half...

Th!nk 01-27-2006 09:40 AM

My family has completely let me down. I wish I could say exactly what my mother and sister did to me.

The world is a very lonely place without family. When you have no one to turn to to keep you out of the street. It's not a fun place to be. I guess with time, this too will pass.

I'm glad they were not the most important thing in my life. God is. Yea I know not very popular around here, but we are not all like Jerry Falwell. I couldn't continue at this point if not for my faith.
