Where do you get your Content??

I am a startup photographer / adult content provider and need to do some market research to gear my business towards the needs of my potential clients

feel free to reply to this thread which content sites if any you get your content from

No offense but it looks like I get my content from the same places you get yours. Maybe you should more clearly define "startup photographer" since it looks like you site is populated with mainstream content.

you are right. most of the sets I got from a professional photographer who sold me resale rights. I only have done two sets myself. next week I am getting another photographer to shoot an exclusive set for me

Todays content provider market is very tough to get into.

You're up against providers like us, WWC, Sell My Content and a host of others. All are very established, good at what they do and got catalogues that run into 1,000s of sets or videos.

Your content from what I saw is poor and if a professional shot it I would say professional at what, because he's not a shooter selling porn.

You can come here and say what you like, it's a free world and this place is freer than most, but remember the people here are not the fools the act like. So you need to have something to back it up.

You don't from what I saw.

well I guess I better give up then. Its just that I already have a full time job and I am doing this on the side so that one day I can escape the whole 9 to 5 daily grind corporate world and work from myself. But I am finding that its really tough to make it in this biz. Also to save money I got cheap models, shot the content myself at my home and purchased an off the shelf template for 400$. I think this year I am going to take a risk and really start investing in quality models and photographers. I have a shoot this Saturday with a great photographer. If I dont start making a profit by the end of this year I will sell the biz

For our market, and niche sites. We do them ourselves and do well.

I got out of the plugin content game with the 2257 scares. There are plenty of places out there to buy content. Some will even custom for you. Hopefully you have a nice bank roll in place if you are buying something good, exclusive, or not total reruns.

As well, if you are looking at doing websites for memberships, hopefully you know a thing or two about traffic generation, promotion, and other things needed.

Just my :2 cents:
