So last night I was on the phone with Ruyder from Nashville Pussy (a very good friend of mine)?she tells me that they have #3 for pussy on Google and want to make a little money off it. So I sign them up for OCCash and throw a quick page together for them.

While I am on the phone, she has another call come in, so she puts me on hold. We she comes back, she has me conferenced in with some other guy?

Guess who it was?

None other that Jeff Hannemen from SLAYER ? the greatest metal band of history, author of 90% of the songs on Reign in Blood, and really the better of the two guitar players in the band (sorry Keery) ? the guy is a fucking METAL GOD!

We talk for a while. Jeff tells us that he has written a song for the next Slayer album that will be about 9/11, but from the terrorist?s point of view!

I bought a bunch of guitars off of Kerry and Jeff.

I used to sell coke to them like 10 years ago when Nashville Pussy first moved to Atlanta. Their drummer (Jeremy) was my roomate for 5 years. Nashville Pussy toured with Slayer, so I've met the guys before. It was just really cool getting to hear Jeff talk about their new CD becasue I am such a huge fan.

Oh yeah, the new album will have Dave Lombardo back on the drums...1st time since Seasons in the Abyss!

I have been to too many Slayers shows to count (and i still have scars to prove it ), Tom,Kerry, Jeff and Dave were and always will be the greatest black metal/thrash metal band ever. Nothing and i mean nthing gets me going like poping in Reign in Blood, Show No Mercy, or South of Heaven.

Some say the pen is mightier than the sword, but i say FUCK the pen, cause you can all die by the sword.

Reign In Blood hasn't really left my cd player in 20 years...er, well, there was the time I finally wore the casette out and bought it on CD, but other than that....

Yep, that is a classic album...I've owned quite a number of copies...28 minutes of metal perfection.
