What is the total estimated entire ballpark cost to attend the Costa Rica Bash?

Including food, hotel, transportation, et al.

Also a plane ticket from NY or NJ

Do you need a passport?

CyberAgeGary 01-25-2006 02:27 PM

You are looking at spending around 1500 for flight and hotel and expenses, and you probably would need a passport... If you play poker you might want to bring a little more cash...

Anyone looking to split a room?

you DEFINITELY need a passport. It will take at least two weeks to get one unless you pay someone to expedite it for you.

V_RocKs 01-25-2006 02:45 PM

Flight from LAX for me is $1000 and the hotel about $500... I'd say you could do this and enjoy yourself for $2500... But if you really wanted to ENJOY yourself I'd bring an extra grand or two just so you don't need to think about a budget.

Someone said if you go to the casino you may need more. I play poker and I win 80% of the time or only lose the buy in... So I'd see the casinos as a way to make the extra $2000 while I am there.

Certainly need a passport uno - but no visa if from the EU, US, Canada and a few other places.

The flight prob costs more than anything. Hotels are not expensive - especially around Jaco (It's a beach area for locals and they ain't interested in tourist prices). One resort I use regluar costs, (depending on the season) from $120 - $180/night, all food, including a la carte if wanted, plus as much booze as you can drink.

Passport is little to no problem.

I try not to gamble. This would purely be a business trip with a tiny bit of fun on the side.

I hope you go. We can finally chat in person :)

I got my tickets a while ago and didn't pay much at all. I'm in Florida though, so it's a quick flight from here.

I'm arriving the day of the show, and flying out a couple days after. Anymore than that my Wife, and kids would miss me deeply.

(Actually I would miss them more I think :Oh crap )

uno 01-25-2006 04:15 PM

OK if I can i think i'll fly in early the day of the show and leave the day after.

My gf would kill me otherwise.
