Chickens will eat chickens, seen it way to many times. Hell they will eat bacon, steak, eggs, hell anything you put near them.
If a chicken see's a wound on another chicken the wounded chicken is fair game and the rest peck it to death and start to munch.

My theory is they are dinosaurs, they just evolved much smaller than they once were.

I have this South Park DVD where during one of the scene intros Trey feeds bacon to a pig - that kinda freaked my wife out, and I have to admit it did seem a little twisted, but hey, that's entertainment...
