$$$ - FlashComm Server MX -- anyone selling?

Anyone want to sell any unusued licenses of Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX ro Version 1.5?

They don't sell 1.5 anymore and 2.0 only allows 100 connections per license. Was hoping some people who bought the Pro version who had webcam sites that aren't operational anymore might be interested in selling. We need about 5 copies and are willing to pay a good price for each. It would have to be a legal agreement along with Macromedia's standard transfer of ownership form.

Hmmmmmm, I think we still got a few unlimited licenses around here........ lemme check

We had the same problem but gladly we have MLVP contracts that helps us that we get the new Flash Media Server Pro 2.0 licenses.

The new release of FCS to FMS required us to recode our complete system. One thing I'm very glad and that is I don't have the 3 monthly capacity pack costs anymore.

Forgot to mention it but the best thing to do is checkout all the Flash Comm message boards, since a lot of companies want to sell their licenses.

Macromedia calls it deinvestments because they require you to buy new licenses if you didn't had an associated MLVP license.

How many concurrent sessions does the flash comm server 1.5 handle?

The Flash Communication Server Professional Edition is the production level version of the Flash Communication Server. It can support up to 2,500 simultaneous connections and serve 10 Mbit of data per second.

If you combine it with a capacity pack you have unlimited connections/bandwidth.

This is only valid for the FCS1.5 Pro license.

It's very ridiculous. I want the Origin/Edge licenses because we're now growing in connections/bandwidth and asked them to do us an offer where our earlier Macromedia investments could be deducted.

Because of the closing merger with Adobe it was difficult and they could only give me a discount.

I hope their license structure will change if they want to make FMS successful and accepted by entrepreneurs and developers.

bump, anyone here want to sell? Even one license?
