Thats so fucked up I tell you. Why dont they TEACH parenting and solve the problems with children? I swear, spank the lil fuckers when they misbehave and defy your authority. Thats what works! duh!

Felt good to just say it.:)

GlydeGirl 01-24-2006 11:30 AM

What is this supposed to protect the children from -- stranger abudctions? Stranger abductions are the LEAST common form of kidnapping, as well as the LEAST common form of child sexual abuse!

sumphatpimp 01-24-2006 11:49 AM

what good will that do when a kid brings a gun to school?

RuthB 01-24-2006 11:55 AM

$369,000 given to them by the Dept of Justice to improve school safety/security and that's what they pick? Given ALL the available options??

Sometimes you just have to shake your head and wonder

rowan 01-24-2006 11:56 AM

Uh... so every student has to stay within the school building until they're picked up by an authorised adult? Imagine the queues...

Reading comprehension isn't one of his strengths.

baddog 01-24-2006 12:14 PM

For those that can not read, the kids don't look into the scanner, adults do.

How does it protect a kid? How about there is a divorce and the father is not allowed to have unsupervised visits with the kid, yet decides he is going to pull the kid out of school without permission? If he isn't one of the 4 approved adults assigned to the kid, he doesn't get in.

Nowhere did the article say anything that kids would not have new books, after school sports, or that each kid would have to be checked out after normal school hours.

Thank God that we can prevent fathers from time with their children via iris scanners.

We all know that all fathers not allowed unsupervised visits with their children are abusers and criminals. Women never lie during divorce proceedings.

Christ -- look at the NJ school budget.

Some of us don't just take our news from published reports. Is your contention that no books could have been bought with the money? No extracurricular activities (which have been discontinued) could have been sponsored.
