Where can i get a VB 6 compiler
 
I've downloaded Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition, but this doesn't work, keeps upgrading it to a .NET project.
I need a Visual Basic 6 compiler:helpme :helpme :helpme :helpme

ummm yeah, but Visual Studio does contain Visual Basic if I'm right.

Yes it does, you are right. The version he is looking for is Visual Basic 6.0, this is an older version of Visual Basic which was released in 1998. Visual Basic .NET was released in 2002.

You can upgrade your VB6 project with .NET upgrade wizard, but it will use the .NET Framework. From the sound of it, he doesn't program in either, so he has a good chance of running into problems using the upgrade wizard.
